2008 Per Capita Real State GDP
Economists divide production by population to get comparable figures for economies, and sometimes use it as a measure of economic well-being. Per capita Real GDP in both RTW states and non-RTW states grew by 0.1 percent in 2008, while Michigan lost 1 percent.
